KCR Presents GivingTuesday Stories: A series of heart-warming stories and a glance at our different programs we offer.
After three long years of waiting for a domestic adoption placement and not knowing if it would ever happen for them, we were excited to be
able to call an Okanagan family with the news that they had been chosen by a birth mother. Their reaction upon receiving a call from the agency was shock and sheer joy. After they finished wiping the happy tears off the floor they arrived at the hospital to meet their son. They were able to take him home that afternoon and begin their parenting journey. They can’t wait to celebrate their first Christmas as a family.
