Volunteer Friendship For Newcomers:
is designed to match adult community residents with newcomers, helping them to learn how to live in Canada, integrate to the community and provide and opportunity to practice English.
Youth Peer Support:
will provide support and friendship for immigrant youth and offer opportunities to integrate the community.
will offer informal advice, connections, moral support and network opportunities to internationally trained professionals.
will provide social and learning opportunities for immigrant seniors in conjunction with non-immigrant seniors aged 55 years or older.
A labour market specialist will provide individual labour market information, referrals and support.
Will provide an overview of BC Society, introduce newcomers to BC and community services, assist immigrants to obtain skills related to social connections, knowledge and life skills.
