Central Okanagan Local Immigration Partnership (COLIP)

The Central Okanagan LIP is driven by a Council of community stakeholders whose aims are to support newcomer settlement and integration through local community engagement and collaboration.

Employment Support

Our Specialists provide pre-employment support and assistance with job search, resume/cover letter preparation, and interviewing skills.

LINC English Program

English Language Classes for adults, 18 years and older, who are permanent residents, convention refugees, refugee claimants, naturalized citizens and those with open work permits.

Mentorship Program

We provide Employment and Settlement Mentorship Services to Newcomers to help them integrate in Canadian Society.

Settlement & Case Management Services

KCR Settlement and Case Management Services provide personalized support to eligible newcomers as they adjust to life in Canada and work toward their settlement goals.

Translation & Interpretation Services

Providing participants with high-quality interpretation and translation services in over 60 languages. We also arrange certified translation upon request.

Workshops & Training

Will provide an overview of BC Society, introduce newcomers to BC and community services, assist immigrants to obtain skills related to social connections, knowledge and life skills.
