It is that time of the year where KCR in collaboration with the Kelowna Capital News starts to collect information for the annual Holiday Activities Guide.
If you did not get involved last year, this year is a good one to get started as we are changing things up a bit to reflect our COVID reality. We understand that in light of the current events a lot of the traditional events or ways for people to gather and celebrate might have to be changed. We would love to hear how your organizations are doing, how you are pivoting and how you are recreating your events and activities for the coming season.
We have made the decision to continue with the production of the Guide because we really want to support these efforts and to be able to highlight and promote the activities for the community. We feel strongly that it is important to celebrate the season and to highlight stories of perseverance, creativity and celebrations.
Please share your FREE or LOW-COST events for the listing – this includes everything from community dinners, spiritual services, craft fairs & bazaars, artisan-focused, and other seasonal activities. All of the funds raised will be going to KCR’s Sponsor a Family Program.

The Guide will be included in the Kelowna Capital News on Thursday, November 19th to Lake Country, Kelowna, West Kelowna and Peachland, with a total distribution of 40,000.
