With the temperature dropping and the snow falling, it is time to start thinking about the holidays and how our community can help everyone have a festive season.
KCR’s annual Sponsor-a-Family program has received a record number of applications this year. COVID-19 has deeply impacted many of the families in our community. Those that were already vulnerable are struggling even more and other families are experiencing new vulnerabilities for the first time. Many families are experiencing higher levels of anxiety and depression as they look at the increased demand of trying to provide for their families a ‘little holiday happiness’.
Please consider making a donation or sponsoring a family so that we can provide hampers for all of the families who have requested assistance through this program. Thank you so much for your consideration and please know that every donation – big or small makes a difference.
