Ali Brent, Program Manager with Community Futures, will lead this info session that is designed to help you understand the key differences between being an employee and being an entrepreneur or working on contract in the gig economy. Learn the benefits and risks of self-employment as well as the first steps to testing and proving the market and financial viability of a business idea. This info session will also introduce you to Community Futures and the services they offer to support new and aspiring business owners in the Central Okanagan.
