This resource was developed due to the critical need for continuing education and accessible information around proactively and positively responding to an individual’s risk of death by suicide. In the Central Okanagan, families/friends have been devastated by the suicide of a loved one. It is our hope that this resource may be used as a guide as well as a means of encouraging open dialogue and discussion about this potentially preventable action.
