Immigrant Services – No Walk-Ins Accepted at this Time

Dear KCR Participants,

As you are all aware, the current COVID-19 situation is continually changing and we are doing our best to stay on top of everything.

We understand that this is a stressful time for many and want to support all while still serving those in need in a safe manner, keeping everyone healthy.

KCR is following all government directives and we continue to consider staff and participant health to be paramount. Below are our new protocols, effective immediately:

At this time, Immigrant Services will NOT accept WALK-INs. Please call KCR at 250-763-8008 and a Settlement Worker will be able to have a phone/video consultation with you to discuss your needs.

  • All one-to-one appointments will be carried out over the phone/video call. Please contact your Settlement Worker to arrange appointments.
  • All Information and Orientation group workshops (including pre-employment, community connections) are postponed until further notice.
  • All mentorship check-ins/appointments will be conducted over the phone.
  • Translation and Interpretation services will be available for urgent/time-sensitive requests only.

Thank you again for your understanding and patience as we navigate through this unprecedented, fluid situation. We truly appreciate your support as we work toward the health and safety for everyone – a top priority for our staff and participants.
