LINC English Program

About

The LINC program is funded by the Government of Canada through Citizenship and Immigration Canada and the Province of British Columbia. It is for adults, 18 years and older, who are permanent residents, convention refugees, refugee claimants, naturalized citizens and those with open work permits.

Classes are free, friendly, and focus on practical English and information about life in Canada.

We offer classes from Pre-CLB to CLB 6.

Days and Times:

The classes are 90 minutes long, five days per week. We have classes from 9:00 to 10:30, 11:00 to 12:30, with beginner classes from 1:00 to 2:30 and 3:00 to 4:30. We also have afternoon Literacy classes, Tuesday to Thursday. We offer classes from Pre-CLB to CLB 6.

Eligibility:

An English level placement test will be taken to determine the current CLB (Canadian Language Benchmark) English level and the appropriate class to be placed in. If you meet the requirements and can attend classes five days per week, please contact Alana Turigan, LINC Coordinator, to make an appointment to register.
