The crisp smell of fall, the crunchy leaves, pumpkin spice everywhere – these can only mean one thing…the holiday season is right around the corner! It is also that time of the year where we highlight your organization’s events and activities for the coming season!
KCR Community Resources, together with Kelowna Capital News, are once again putting together information for this year’s annual Holiday Activities Guide. This year’s celebrations may look a little different, however, we can still embrace seasonal cheer! That is why we have made the decision to continue with the production of this year’s publication as we continue to support your organization’s efforts in navigating through these times while being able to highlight and promote the holiday activities for the community. We feel strongly that it is important to celebrate the season and to highlight stories of perseverance, creativity, and celebrations.
Please share your FREE or LOW-COST events for the listing – this includes everything from community dinners, spiritual services, craft fairs & bazaars, and any other seasonal activities. All of the funds raised will be going to KCR’s Sponsor a Family Program. Please note that we only feature nonprofit/charity events or those that benefit them.
Event Submission Deadline: Tuesday, November 2, 2021, 12 noon
The Holiday Activities Guide will be included in the Kelowna Capital News newspaper on Thursday, November 18th, and will be distributed to Lake Country, Kelowna, West Kelowna, and Peachland, with a total distribution of 40,000 copies.
