Settlement Workers will assist you to identify and assess your needs and barriers and provide you with information, options and referrals to relevant services and resources within the community.


Employment Services

A labour market specialist will provide individual labour market information, referrals and support.


Life Skills, Education and Orientation Workshops

Will provide an overview of BC Society, introduce newcomers to BC and community services, assist immigrants to obtain skills related to social connections, knowledge and life skills.


Welcoming Communities

Community bridging services/programs creates opportunities for newcomers to interact with longer-term residents in their living and work environments.

Volunteer Friendship For Newcomers: is designed to match adult community residents with newcomers, helping them to learn how to live in Canada, integrate to the community and provide and opportunity to practice English.

Youth Peer Support: will provide support and friendship for immigrant youth and offer opportunities to integrate the community.

Employment Mentors: will offer informal advice, connections, moral support and network opportunities to internationally trained professionals.

Seniors Outreach: will provide social and learning opportunities for immigrant seniors in conjunction with non-immigrant seniors aged 55 years or older.


Translation Services

Providing participants with the high quality interpretation and translation services in over 30 languages. We also arrange certified translation upon request.
