The BC Services and Assistance for Humanitarian and Vulnerable Newcomers (BC SAF HAVN) program is designed to provide comprehensive support for refugee claimants in all aspects of their initial settlement needs. This includes navigating immigration and legal processes, finding employment opportunities, accessing housing services, and receiving mental health support. Additionally, the program offers mental health support to other vulnerable newcomers and extends its vital legal and housing support services to asylum seekers, ensuring a holistic approach to their integration and well-being.

The BC Newcomer Services Program (BC NSP) is a provincial initiative designed to support newcomers, including foreign workers, international students, refugee claimants, and Naturalized Canadian Citizens. Our program offers a comprehensive range of services to ensure you achieve the best possible settlement outcomes. From personalized settlement services and expert employment counseling to tailored employment training programs, language training, and community connection support, we equip you with the tools and network for success in the central Okanagan.
