Settlement Services assist new immigrants and refugees to Canada to identify and assess their needs and barriers and provides newcomers with information, options, and referrals to relevant services and resources within the community.
Settlement and Integration helps newcomers to become independent and contributing members of the community by providing skills to participate in the community and knowledge of opportunities that promote civic participation while promoting cross-cultural understanding.
Services are available in both official languages (English and French) and a variety of languages including Spanish, Arabic, Farsi, Dari, Mandarin, Korean, Tagalog, Russian, Ukrainian, German among others. We also provide assistance for Canadian Citizenship applicants.
Service Eligibility:
-Permanent Residents of Canada
-Protected Persons as defined under section 95 of the Immigration & Refugee Protection Act (IRPA)
-Individuals selected to become Permanent Residents by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
-CUAET Visa Holders
