ES Program KCR Community Resources

From my first meeting with KCR and into the YESS program, I’ve been met with care and professionalism by everyone I’ve interacted with. I’d especially like to highlight my case manager, Yana Pavlova, at the YESS program. She makes me feel truly seen and heard at every appointment, and even takes the time to check in between sessions. Her support goes above and beyond, and has made me feel confident and prepared for this new chapter in life.

You have been a great support for someone who has no family or academic support. Thank you for providing me with the tools and assistance to believe that my journey could begin in Canada. I sincerely wish the organization many years of success so it can continue supporting the community and making this country a better place for everyone.

It was a pleasure working with you. YESS has helped me a lot. I don’t know how long I would have looked for a job without your help. KCR is a very good organization. I am grateful for your help!

Thank you for your assistance in finding sustainable employment. I came to Canada with zero English skills and no understanding of the Canadian job market. First months I was struggling to find a job because nobody wanted to hire me without English skills and I decided to register in the KCR YESS Program. Iana was able to help me with a resume and cover letter, and prepare myself for the interviews. She was always sending me any job openings or job fairs that I would be interested in. Finally, due to collaborative work I was able to find a full-time job as a seamstress. I am extremely grateful to the YESS for helping me find my first job in Canada.
