Family Friend

About

Being a single mom can be a lonely and difficult role, days are long and many moms find themselves feeling isolated and lacking any community support.

The Family Friend Program staff connect single moms with a screened, trained volunteer mentor who offer support through mentorship, friendship and help in accessing community resources.

Criteria:

Single mom, pregnant or, with a child 6 years of age or under
Feeling isolated and would benefit from connection and support
Willing to be matched and meet regularly with a volunteer mentor
