Youth Development & Engagement Grant

Applications Due: Sunday, January 20, 2019

The Youth Development and Engagement Grant is a matching grant of up to $1,000 designed to empower youth (aged 13-19) to participate in civic engagement, receive mentorship, and shape their neighbourhoods by leading neighbourhood enhancement projects. In working with other youth in their neighbourhoods, this grant will provide the opportunity for youth to build relationships, gain a greater sense of neighbourhood pride, develop leadership skills and have fun!

2019 Community Grants

In 2019, the Central Okanagan Foundation will administer the Community Social Development Grants on behalf of the City of Kelowna.

The Central Okanagan Foundation encourages registered charities, non-profit organizations interested in applying for a Community Social Development grant to attend an information session on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 1:30 pm in the Pacific Safety Products Boardroom at the Rotary Centre for the Arts, 421 Cawston Avenue.

The session will cover program updates that could impact the application process, to register, please contact Cheryl Miller, Director of Grants & Community Initiatives, Central Okanagan Foundation.

Completed applications are due on or before 3:30 pm, Friday, February 22, 2019, and should be dropped off at the Central Okanagan Foundation office located at #306-1726 Dolphin Avenue.
