Course Developer: Overview of Fund Development

Is Fund Development your specialty? Do you have proven skills in developing workshop materials and facilitating learning?

Kelowna Community Resources wants to hire an individual with expertise to create a course that provides an overview of fund development topics and best practices. The course would consist of 8 half-day modules that includes learning objectives, PowerPoint, supporting handouts, sample formats, draft policies and procedures as well as facilitation activities. Expected completion date is August 2013.

A template exists for the course format and preliminary module content has been organized. An array of international resources has been identified as sources for content specific information. Contract money is available for this position.

As a registered charity, KCR provides a variety of support to the Central Okanagan not-for-profit sector in the areas of community information and volunteerism. Free and reasonably priced training is one of the services provided.
