Kiosk

Andrew using the kioskCultures from around the world are a touch away. Our mobile kiosk’s touch screen lets you choose activities from other countries. There are games, puzzles, stories, videos, community resources, multiculturalism in action in Kelowna, and a question answer section. Match the flag, costume and currency to the correct country is a fun choice. New content is added every month.

The kiosk travels to community events, schools and libraries. Simply plug it into an electrical outlet, no internet access is needed. It stands 140 cm or 4 feet 7 inches tall and measures 47 cm or 18 inches square.

Children and youth really like touching the screen, making choices and learning about other countries. Much of the content is planned with them in mind.

Why not try out the kiosk for yourself? Tell us about ideas you have for new content.

You can ask to have the kiosk visit your event to add a multicultural flare. For  more information call us at 250.763.8008. The kiosk was made possible by funding from the Province of British Columbia.
