This 300+ page directory outlines community, health and social service agencies, as well as federal, provincial and municipal government services. A Winter and Spring edition are published each year. The Canadian Code for Volunteer Involvement
Volunteer Canada created the Canadian Code for Volunteer Involvement to support organizations that engage volunteers. The CCVI is a framework for involving volunteers in all levels of an organization. This includes volunteers working in leadership, direct service and virtual roles.
National Occupational Standards: For Managers of Volunteer Resources
Produced by the HR Council for the Nonprofit Sector. The National Occupational Standard provides a foundation for the further development of key human resource and career planning tools.
