On March 23, John Yap, the Minister of State for Multiculturalism and as the chair of the Immigration Task Force, MLA Norm Letnick and MLA Steve Thomson visited Kelowna Community Resources. The purpose of this visit was to hear about the Immigrant Services Programs and Welcoming Communities initiatives provided by KCR.

An Afternoon of Musical Entertainment

Immigrant Seniors met in the home of Qi Zhang for a lunch followed by an afternoon of musical entertainment. Active Living for Immigrant Seniors

  Active Living for Seniors workshop series  is underway.  Last Wednesday the seniors learned about gardening and prepared their own hanging baskets. This week the Seniors group will be treated to a music recital by Garry Jefferson.  A light lunch will be served.
