About: KCR Family Services

Offering support for first time parents, single moms and extended families. Kids Count – We visit in the homes of first time parents to help them interact well with their children. Families must be referred by a public health nurse. Family Friend - Volunteers help single moms through friendship and connections to community services. Family Group Conference – We host a special meeting of parents, children, extended family and those who feel like family. The purpose is to create a plan for children who are in need of protection. The Crisis Line – We provide confidential support by actively listening to people during difficult times.
